All students will be required to take PHAR-812 Methodology in Pharmacology, PHAR-821* Pharmacology Seminar Program and PHAR-811* Principles of Drug Discovery and Development. In addition Pharmacology-stream students are required to take either PHAR-810* Advances in Neuropharmacology or PHAR-853* Cellular and Molecular Cardiovascular Sciences or PHAR 854* Cardiovascular Sciences: Tissues and Systems. Toxicology-stream students are required to take PHAR-815* Mechanistic Toxicology. Exemption from any of these courses requires the approval of the program. The student must obtain satisfactory standings in the courses (see The School of Graduate Studies: Course Work Requirements).
