Pharmacology is broadly defined as the effect of drugs and chemicals on living organisms, while toxicology is the study of the deleterious effects of drugs and chemicals on living organisms. No prior knowledge of physiology is required to understand the drug action described in this course. Note: The Blended offering of this course is only open to students registered in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program.
